OUTLOUD – Week 4

“Gratitude Through My Story”

An appreciation of a great meal or riveting movie most often results in our recommendation for others to try them also.  Our appreciation of God’s saving work in our lives should result in the same.  All too often believers seem to think that a vast understanding of theology and doctrine is needed for them to convince someone else to give God a try.  The one thing that every believer has better than every other person on earth is a grasp of their story of what God has done in their life.  Shouldn’t the life of an excited recipient of the gospel be marked by the same “you have to try this” recommendation as an excited movie-goer?
